Under the authority of section 6 of the Hydro Corporation Act, 2007 and paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Heather Jacobs, Q.C. to the Board of Directors of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, effective August 18, 2017, until such time as the position is filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act.
