Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Doug Trask as Assistant Deputy Minister (Royalties and Benefits), in the Department of Natural Resources, effective September 5, 2017, with salary at Step 25 on the 1404 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of his date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to September 5, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
