Under the authority of subsections 10(6) and 10(9) of the Teachers’ Collective Bargaining Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Bernadette Cole Gendron, Staff Relations Specialist, Human Resource Secretariat, as Chief Negotiator in the place of George Joyce, Assistant Deputy Minister – Labour Relations, HRS, on the recommendation of the President of Treasury Board to represent the Government on the School Board Committee to conduct the bargaining of the Provincial Teachers’ Collective Agreement and Labrador West Teachers’ Collective Agreement with the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association, effective immediately, for a two-year term.
