Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds up to $7,102,300 against 2019-20 budgetary appropriations, to facilitate the award of a contract to Johnson’s Construction for the paving of approximately 83 kilometres of the Trans Labrador Highway between Charlottetown Junction and Cartwright Junction.
