Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding in the amount of $3,000,000 against its 2014-15 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the award of a contract to Johnsons Construction Ltd. for the replacement of the Sandy Narrows Bridge.
