Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 22 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to:

1) appoint the following individuals as full-time Review Commissioners to the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Review Division, for five-year terms, and on such other terms and conditions approved by the Clerk of the Executive Council:
a) Shane Hickey, effective January 7, 2019; and
b) Suzanne Hollett, effective January 8, 2019; and
2) set remuneration for the full-time Review Commissioners at $90,000, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place the candidates at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which they have been appointed herein, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, and with normal step progression and general salary increases to apply.
