Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Karen Stone as Deputy Minister of the Department of Health and Community Services, effective January 14, 2019, with salary at step 25 of the 2448 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
