Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gail Boland as Assistant Deputy Minister (Policy, Planning and Corporate Services), in the Department of Finance, on an acting basis, effective January 21, 2019, with a 10% salary increase to be applied to her current salary, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to the date of appointment, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
