Under the authority of subsection 17(2) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to accept $50,000 as full settlement of a debt in the amount of $56,122.74 owed to the Province by Rambler Metals and Mining Canada Limited relating to costs incurred by the Province during the suppression of a forest fire in Nippers Harbour.
