Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Megan Collins as the Assistant Deputy Minister (Public Safety and Enforcement), in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective March 19, 2019, with salary at Step 12 on the 1560 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to the date of appointment, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein.
