Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding in the amount of $2.5 million for fiscal year 2007-08 against current account appropriations under 3.1.09 (School Facilities – New Construction and Alterations to Existing Facilities) for the purpose of an award of tender for the construction of an extension and renovations to Exploits Valley Intermediate School.
