Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and Beothuck Investments Inc., the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 9,913 square feet of office space occupied by the Department of Human Resources, Labour, and Employment, Labour Relations Agency in the Beothuck Building, St. John’s, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to October 31, 2007 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the rental rate of $21.90 per square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act.
