Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Environment and Conservation and Buildco Ltd., the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of space occupied by the Department of Environment and Conservation, Lands Division in the Balmoral Building, Clarenville, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to September 30, 2007 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the rental rate of $10.79 per square foot for 1,474 square feet of office space and $4.49 per square foot for 1,070 square feet of storage space pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act.
