Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding in the amount of $6.22 million for fiscal year 2007-08 in place of the $2.25 million previously approved by OC2006-220 for 2007-08, and funding in the amount of $800,000 for fiscal year 2008-09 against capital accounting appropriations, for construction of the new Mobile Central High School.
