Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board and Beothuck Investments Inc., the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of space occupied by the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board in the Beothuck Building, St. John’s, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to July 31, 2007 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the rental rate of $18.50 per square foot for 3,771 square feet of office space, $19.00 per square foot for 1,051 square feet of office space and $8.00 per square foot for 150 square feet of storage space pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act.
