Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Natural Resources to pre-commit funds totalling $500,000 in each of fiscal years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, for purposes of a contract extension for a strategic advisor on energy.
