Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into an agreement with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to extend the Housing Renovation Program for an additional two years, from March 31, 2007 to March 31, 2009, with a copy of the extension agreement to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council, and to enter into any associated extension or successor agreements without further reference to Cabinet as long as there are no substantial policy or funding implications.
