Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Baxter Rose as the Deputy Minister of the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective May 3, 2007, with a 10% increase in salary on appointment in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with general salary increases to apply, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Rose’s initial salary on appointment, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective May 3, 2007, where applicable.
