Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 27 of “An Act to Amend the Securities Act No. 2,” SNL2006 c42, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to cause a proclamation to be issued for the signature of His Honour the Lieutenant Governor to bring the sections of the Act into force in accordance with the following proclamation schedule:

i)  Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25 and 26 to come into force effective the date of publication of the proclamation in the Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette;

ii)  Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 19, 22 and 24 to come into force on September 1, 2007; and

iii)  Section 14 to come into force on May 1, 2008.
