Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds of $1,698,950, $1,698,950, $1,698,950 and $368,317 against its 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12 budgetary appropriations respectively to facilitate an award of contract for summer and winter maintenance of the Trans Labrador Highway between Churchill Falls to Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Northwest River.
