Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby discontinues the appointment of Ms. Beverley Carter as Assistant Deputy Minister – Economics and Statistics in the Department of Finance, effective August 10, 2007, with Ms. Carter to receive termination benefits in accordance with section 6.2 of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with the following exception:  severance benefits (if any) are not to be deducted from other termination benefits.
