Under the authority of subsection 26 (4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Natural Resources to pre-commit funds in the amounts of $347,738 against its 2008/09 budgetary appropriations and $307,605 against its 2009/10 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the award of contract for project management of the preliminary rehabilitation work at major abandoned mine properties in the Baie Verte area.
