Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Health and Community Services to pre-commit funding against capital account appropriations under 3.2.02 (Health Care Facilities) in the amount of $13.4 million for 2008/09 and $3.6 million for 2009/10 to award the design build contract and fund other project related expenses for the construction of the Long Term Care Facility, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
