Under the authority of section 19 of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the remission of tax for the period January 1, 2006 to November 22, 2006, subject to the payment of any outstanding provincial tax assessments, for:

i) personal income tax payable by Sheshatshiu Band members in relation to income earned in the area which is now reserve lands; and

ii) the provincial component of the Harmonized Sales Tax paid by Sheshatshiu Band members, the Band Council and Band Empowered Entities, subject to the provision of documentation that goods or services were purchased in the area which is now reserve lands.
