Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Brent Meade as the Deputy Minister of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, effective May 30, 2007, with salary at an appropriate step on the 2228 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Meade’s current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective May 20, 2007 where applicable.
