Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Health and Community Services, the Minister of Justice and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign the Memorandum of Agreement Respecting Federal Contributions to Youth Justice Services and Programs, substantially along the lines of the document attached at Annex A of the Ministers’ Submission, covering the period April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2011, and to enter into future extensions to this Agreement or successor agreements as long as there are no substantive policy or financial implications, without further reference to Cabinet.
