Under the authority of sections 3, 4 and 7 of the Housing Corporation Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to clarify Mr. Kennedy’s appointment and authority to act in the position and to appoint Mr. Gerry Kennedy as a Member and as Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, at pleasure, to fill the vacancy created from September 11, 2007 to October 16, 2007, with salary prorated for the period of this temporary assignment to reflect a 10% increase, which would place him temporarily at Step 15 of the 2328 Point Scale (annual salary of $119,623) of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016.
