Under the authority of section 42.4 of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Ed Ring as the Acting Information and Privacy Commissioner, effective December 17, 2007, in the place of Mr. Wall, and in accordance with a contract between Mr. Ring and the Speaker of the House of Assembly to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
