Under the authority of section 55 of the Expropriation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to sell the remnant parcel of expropriated land measuring 317.3 square metres off Powell Drive in Carbonear fronting the Slade’s Memorial Services site and as outlined and described in the survey plan and description attached in Annex “C” of the Minister’s Submission, to the Town of Carbonear for the nominal amount of $1.00.
