Under the authority of section 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize an extension of the lease of 3,380 square feet of office space occupied by the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment from The Porte Village Ltd., in the Porte Village Building, Lewisporte, NL, for a period of up to twelve (12) months, on a month to month basis under the same terms and conditions commencing January 1, 2008 at the rental rate of $12.45 per square foot plus an additional up front lump sum payment of $3,780.00 for the first six months and a possible additional $3,780.00 for the period beyond the initial six month extension, should it be required, subject to the increased funding requirements being sourced within existing budgetary allocations for the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment.
