Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign a Physical Activity and Healthy Eating bilateral agreement with the Government of Canada, substantially along the lines of that which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, and that such an agreement may be renewed/extended on similar terms and conditions without further reference to Cabinet, contingent upon receipt of budgetary appropriations in the respective future fiscal year.
