Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint David Hughes as Assistant Deputy Minister – Policy and Planning (Acting) in the Department of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs, effective from a current date, with salary to be determined in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016.
