Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds of $1,677,000 against its 2006-2007 budgetary appropriations for Ferry Terminals (Capital) in order to provide for the award of a contract for the rehabilitation of the Portugal Cove Ferry.
