Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby discontinues the appointment of Victor Janes as Assistant Deputy Minister of Tourism and Recreation (Acting) in the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation pursuant to section 6.2 of the Executive Pay Plan Policies and Procedures, effective February 28, 2006, with Mr. Janes to receive termination benefits in accordance with the Executive Pay Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with the following exception:  severance benefits (if any) are not to be deducted from other termination benefits.
