Under the authority of subsection 27(2) of the Schools Act, 1997, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to declare the afternoon session on February 24, 2006, as a school holiday to enable all students the opportunity to view Newfoundland and Labrador’s Brad Gushue rink’s participation in the Gold Medal Game of the 2006 Winter Olympics – Men’s Curling Event.
