Under the authority of paragraph 2(d) of the Emergency Measures Act, section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mike Samson to the Office of Executive Council as Deputy Minister Responsible for Emergency Planning, effective February 27, 2006, at his current salary.
