Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, effective July 29,

2022, to consist of all those functions formerly within the Department of

Transportation and Infrastructure, with five branches as follows:

a) Air and Marine Services, to include responsibility for Air Services, Ferry

Operations, and Marine Maintenance and Engineering;

b) Infrastructure, to include responsibility for Building Design and Construction,

Infrastructure Planning and Procurement, and Municipal Infrastructure;

c) Building Operations, to include responsibility for Planning, Accommodations

and Realty Services, Building Operations, and Security Services;

d) Roads, to include responsibility for Highway Design and Construction, Road

Operations, and Equipment Maintenance; and

e) Strategic and Corporate Services.
