Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Lori-Anne Companion as Assistant Deputy Minister – Municipal Support and Policy in the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective July 30, 2007, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat and salary to be determined in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with Ms. Companion not to receive less than her current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective July 30, 2007.
