Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Doug Smith as Private Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 30, 2007, at his current salary on a personal basis.
