Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Bill Parrott as Assistant Deputy Minister – Environment in the Department of Environment and Conservation, effective August 6, 2007, with salary at Step 33 of the 1450 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan on a personal basis, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Parrott’s current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective August 6, 2007, where applicable.
