Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to provide for the issuance of a Proclamation to signify to the Members of the Forty-Sixth House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador that they should proceed to choose some person to be their Speaker and to present such person for the Lieutenant Governor’s approbation when he, or his successor, calls the House of Assembly together in session.
