Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Justice to pre-commit funds of $418,200 against its 2006-2007 budgetary appropriations for the purpose of purchasing specialized operational equipment required on an urgent basis for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
