Fishing Industry Collective Bargaining Act
Under the authority of section 19.1 of the Fishing Industry Collective Bargaining Act and further to the direction provided in MC2006-0052, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to set the rates of remuneration and expenses for Fish Price-Setting Panel members as follows:
i) Panel members are to receive benefits in accordance with the Treasury Board Guidelines for Rates of Remuneration for Boards, Commissions and Agencies pertaining to Level III Agencies, Boards and Commissions, with the exception of rates of remuneration;
ii) the rate of remuneration for the Chairperson shall be $1000 per day and $5000 annual retainer;
iii) the rate of remuneration for a Regular Member shall be $600 per day and $3000 annual retainer; and
iv) Mr. Joseph O’Neill shall not receive remuneration but shall be paid any expenses along the lines established by the Treasury Board Guidelines for Rates of Remuneration for Boards, Commissions and Agencies.
