Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board – Western Regional Headquarters and West Newfoundland Finance & Development Company Limited, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 4,000 square feet of office space for the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board – Western Regional Headquarters in the Library building, 5 Union Street, Corner Brook, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to March 31, 2007 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $8.25 per square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
