Pursuant to sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act, section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act and the March 1997 Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on Labour Market Development, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Education and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign a replacement to the 2005-2006 Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Skills Development Contribution Agreement to increase the Contribution Agreement amount from $18 million to a maximum of $20 million, along the lines of the copy on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
