Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased

1) a) to strike a committee respecting quota allocations for northern shrimp to articulate to the federal government a unified provincial position on northern shrimp allocations to the provincial inshore fleet in advance ofthe 2014 fishery, and

b) pursue the elimination of the "Last In, First Out" (LIFO) policy of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and

c) seek a more equitable distribution of the quota allocation, based on adjacency and historical dependence;

2) to appoint the following persons to the committee

a) Keith Hutchings (Chair),

b) Derrick Dalley,

c) Glen Littlejohn,

d) Eli Cross,

e) Dwight Ball,

f) Lorraine Michael, and

g) Christopher Mitchelmore; and

3) to appoint the following persons as alternate members of the committee should any of the members above be unavailable to attend committee meetings or otherwise attend to committee affairs

a) Darin King, as first alternate for any of the persons listed in 2(a) to 2(d), inclusive,

b) Kevin Pollard, as second alternate for any ofthe persons listed in 2(a) to 2(d), inclusive,

c) Sam Slade, as alternate for Dwight Ball or Christopher Mitchelmore, and

d) George Murphy, as alternate for Lorraine Michael.
