Under the authority of section 5(2) of the Hydro Corporation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Gerald Shortall as a Director of the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro-Electric Corporation, for a three year term effective January 8, 2009, with the provision that he will serve until his replacement is appointed.
