Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding up to $2,273,000 against its 2009-10 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the construction of the new Francophone school in Happy Valley-Goose Bay to meet the scheduled opening in fall of 2009.
