Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding in the amount of $14,400,000 and $15,543,100 against its budgetary appropriations in 2009-10 and 2010-11 respectively to permit the construction of the new K-6 schools for Torbay and Paradise (1).
