Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Carmela Murphy as the Acting Assistant Deputy Minister (Tourism) in the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, effective April 22, 2013, until the position is filled on a permanent basis, with salary at Step 14 of the 1500 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
